If you are here, then you have probably woken up to your life and felt like something is missing. Or you have experienced a traumatic event in your life that has put your life into perspective for you, and now you are questioning the meaning of it all. Perhaps you’ve been feeling stuck for a while and your search for answers have led you here. If you are here, you are experiencing some form of existential pain. I want to you to know that I get it. I’ve had my fair share of existential pain. What you also need to know, is that this exact pain and frustration that you are experiencing right now, will provide you with the impetus you need to transform your life into a more authentic and engaging life.
You might be reading this and wondering how on earth the pain you are experiencing right now could be of value to you? There is value in every experience, if you are willing to explore it. You cannot truly appreciate joy, elation, gratitude and contentment, if you haven’t lived through your share of anguish, frustration, anger, fear and desperation. Every experience teaches you something about yourself, about other people, and about the world. What you might not know, is that you can choose how you want to show up to each experience. You can choose whether you show up as a victim in your life or as the owner or author of your life. How would I do that, you might ask?
The simple answer is by remaining honest, open and willing.
If you could choose to remain honest, open and willing, there is so much available to you. To live a life of meaning and purpose, requires a commitment to knowing and understanding yourself deeply. It takes courage to change the behaviours that don't serve you, and to cultivate the unique strengths that will allow you to take up the space the universe intended for you. Transforming your life requires deep inner work, and conscious, focused and purposeful action in the world.
To live a life of full engagement requires a willingness to let go of others’ perceptions of you and to bravely step into yourself. It requires the willingness to take up the space the universe intended for you. It requires claiming your voice and taking a stand for what you value, or what you believe in. It requires bravely exploring what is holding you back, what you can’t be with, and what could be possible if you let go of self-limiting beliefs and behaviours.
This might sound like a lot of work, or like it might be too good to be true. It might sound like I do some sort of voodoo magic. But it simply requires that you bravely show up to your life one conversation at a time, pay attention to your behaviours, and consider the powerful questions I pose to you to deepen your own learning, and forward your action on the things that matter most to you.
To start this work requires two things: the courage to face your fears, and the willingness to slow down the speed of your thinking. There are two important caveats here. Courage is not the absensce of fear, it's the willingness to be with your fear. And counterintuitively, the answer to creating the life you want, is not in speeding up, but slowing down.
My job is to tell you the truth. There is a truth you know you need to hear; that no-one is wiling to tell you about how you hold the secret to your own success in life. I will not hold back, because I'm not your friend. I'm your coach and as your coach, you are my greatest inspiration and your dreams and aspirations matter to me. I will champion you. I will challenge you and I will insist that you stay on track towards building a life that resonates with who you really are and what matters most to you. I commit myself to loving and supporting you always. There is space for you here.
